Engineered Bifold Door Series 35mm Thickness Make a real quality statement with traditional styling in solid timber.

The Engineered Bifold Door series have been selected to give the widest range of options in design, timber, pattern and price. The  bi-fold doors are engineered to provide greater stability than traditional construction methods.  All stiles and mid rails are constructed with pieces of laminated timbers which are glued together and then veneered over to provide a much stronger stile or rail which will not twist or warp. The bi-fold panels are raised and fielded on both sides and constructed of medium density fibreboard (MDF) with a timber veneer added to match the stiles and rails.  Using MDF in the construction avoids shrinkage and splitting of the panel which can happen in traditional  construction methods.

Applying doors with a real wood veneer provides greater uniformity in colour and improves the appearance of the door. Any of our 24" bifold doors can be used in conjunction with the Internal Folding Sliding Door System. All bifold door sets come with a running track and a bag of fittings. Our range of Engineered Bifold doors are 35mm thick.

New Designs for 2009

We have added new designs to our Engineered Bifold range. New designs are available to fit openings of: 78 x 24", 78 x 27" and 78 x 30" with the exception of the Marston which is only available in 24" The Victorian glazed designs are available in Oak, Pine, White Primed and Meranti. The Marston designs are available in Oak, Pine and White Primed. All 24" bifold doors can be used with with the Johnson Door Internal Folding Sliding Door System

Complete with track and fittings. Doors come unfinished and can easily be stained or varnished to desired finish.
